The Mountain Area Land Trust is among the premier land preservation groups in Colorado's Front Range. We have supported them since their Initial Public Offering in 1997 and every year since. Find out more about MALT at savetheland.org.
A relatively new event, the Slacker Half Marathon in Clear Creek County has quickly grown into a well-attended downhill run. Starting near Loveland Ski Area, participants run 8 miles to Georgetown while descending around 2000 feet in elevation!
Slackers support three local charities themselves. We have supported the Slacker in all of its years of running. Learn more by contacting world-class organizer Beth Luther at Slacker Half Marathon 2003

We recently joined the family of supporters of MAMFA, youth football in the Evergreen area. In this photo, a couple of fierce characters get psyched up before a game. Mountain Area Midget Football can be contacted at http://www.mountainfootball.org/

Formerly a state agency, budget cuts forced the Colorado Avalanche Information Center to rely on contributions a few years ago. The CAIC interprets and posts snow data for backcountry enthusiasts to use in trip planning. Note that ski areas do their own avalanche assessment and mitigation within their boundaries and are extremely safe in that regard. If you're thinking of venturing into the backcountry in winter, though, a good place to start is the CAIC
